Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Maksim Akimov arrives in Kazan

On February 5, at the Kazan International Airport, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Maksim Akimov, who arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan

During his trip, Akimov will visit Innopolis, a city for IT specialists, plans to get acquainted with projects of Innopolis University as a part of the end-to-end technologies of the Digital Economy programme, to inspect the Centre of Robotics, and also to meet students and teaching staff of the university.

Then, Akimov and Minnikhanov are expected to take part in a working meeting on the development of Innopolis University and the science city in general.

After that, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Tatarstan President will take part in a meeting of the Ministry of Information and Communications of the republic on results of work in 2018.

Later on today, Akimov plans to visit the Kazan Helicopter Plant.
