On December 17, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that in Tatarstan, the number of detected Covid-19 diseases increased by 19 percent and the incidence of SARS and influenza exceeded the epidemic threshold by 82 per cent. In this regard, since December 15 by the Decree of the Chief Medical Officer of the republic, a number of restrictive measures have been introduced.

During the meeting, Minnikhanov said that Christmas trees will be organized for children from the families of the mobilized.

On December 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Managing Director of Tupolev Aircraft Company Vadim Korolev and Director of the Kazan Aircraft Plant Nikolay Savitsky visited the Kazan Aircraft Plant named after Gorbunov - branch of Tupolev Aircraft Company, where he looked around the offices and a catering department after repairs.

Now the plant is under reconstruction. 

On 16 December, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Kirov region Aleksandr Sokolov in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic and the region are have common economic, humanitarian and cultural interests, He informed that inter-regional trade turnover in the last years reached 6 bn roubles, with Tatarstan esporting trucks, tyres, petrochemicals, synthetic rubber, fertilizers, glass and wide range of food products, while Kirov region supplies timber, power cables, concrete products, footwear and specialized  to Tatarstan.

On 16 December Director General of the Rostech State Corporation Sergey Chemezov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the KAMAZ Automaker Board of Directors held in Naberezhnyye Chelny, which discussed current situation at the KAMAZ, the company financial indicators and drew plans and prospects for 2023.

Speaking at a joint collegium of Ministry of Finance, the Department of the Federal Tax Service in the republic and State Federal Treasury in the republic, which discussed the expected results of implementation of the consolidated budget of 2022 and tasks for 2023, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that in the current year the budget implementation took place in harsh conditions.

On 15 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a videoconference meeting of the Presidential Council on strategic development and national projects held by Russian President Vladimir Putin and broadcast by Russia 24 TV channel.

On 15 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 38th meeting of the State Council of the sixth convocation of the republic held by the Chairman of the Council Farid Mukhametshin with participation of the members of the regional government and invited persons.

The agenda of the meeting included 14 issues including six regional draft laws, the number of which increased to 18 after discussion.

On 15 December at the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with winners of the competition of managers “Leaders of Russia” from Tatarstan Rafael Valeyev, Timerbulat Samerkhanov and Mikhail Fokin, who are mentees of the Tatarstan President within the mentorship programme of the competition.

On 15 December at their meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the international organization of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) Taha Ayhan discussed issues of strengthening cooperation and further establishment of business contacts within the OIC framework. The parties emphasized that cooperation of the youth is an important constituent of strengthening the international interaction.

On December 14, in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of signing an agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Federal State Educational Institution of Culture «All-Russian Museum Association «State Tretyakov Gallery».

Director of the Tretyakov Gallery Zelfira Tregulova and Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova signed the document.
