On April 10, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police Colonel General Aleksander Gorov discussed issues of interaction in a number of areas.

On 8 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the VIII Moscow Youth Forum “Moscow-Tatarstan Bridge”, where he greeted its participants and answered questions from them.

The forum was held at the Financial Institute by the Russian Government in Moscow with such key note speakers as the Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for youth Affairs Damir Fattakhov, who is also the Co-Chairman of the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee in Control Oleg Morozov, the leading neurosurgeon of Russia Ali Bekyashev, Russian actor Kamil Larin and others.

On 7 April, speaking at a ceremony of unveiling the memorial plaque to the statesman and Lieutenant General of internal services Nikolay Demidov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “His relentless work for the sake of Tatarstan and the whole of our country is a bright example for the growing generation. Nikolay (Ivanovich) Demidov will be always remembered by residents of our republic, colleagues and his near ones.”

On 7 April the Chairperson of the Rosbank Board of Directors Natalya Voevodina came to Innopolis where, accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, she visited the main IT-facilities of the city and tested the unmanned taxi.

On 6 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov accompanied by the Director General of the KAMAZ Automaker visited the scientific and technical center of the company, which develops new models of vehicles, engines, special vehicles and their units and has all necessary equipment and facilities for various tests in its labs. 

On 6 April, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to the 60th birthday of Russian Internal Ministry preliminary investigation agencies, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated their employees and old stagers with the event.

Regional Minister of Internal Affairs Artem Khokhorin, Deputy Minister – the Head of the Main Investigations Directorate Vladimir Izaak and other officials also took part in the meeting.

On 6 April, speaking at a two-day alignment meeting with heads of the advanced engineering schools (AES) held in Naberezhnyye Chelny and Almetyevsk, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main advantage of Tatarstan in development of advanced engineering schools is its powerful industrial potential.

He attracted attention to the fact that there are three AES developing in the republic in basic spheres of economy such as machine-building, petrochemical industry and IT. “Tatarstan is a large industrial center but we do not see our further development without AESs”, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

On 6 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, Director General of the KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin and representatives of the advanced engineering schools (AES) and heads of the industrial partner-companies from Russia took part in a two-day alignment meeting with heads of the AES held in Naberezhnyye Chelny and Almetyevsk. The main aim of the event was to discuss issues of AESs establishment, to summarize results of their work in 2022 and to define the role and place of the engineering schools in development of the country and the staff training system.

On April 5, Galiaskar Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre hosted an anniversary evening dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan, the laureate of Gabdulla Tukay State Prize of Tatarstan and Musa Jalil State Prize of Tatarstan Ravil Sharafiev.

On April 5, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, on the sidelines of Tatarstan International Forum on Energy and Energy Resource Efficiency, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Government of the republic with participation of First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Pavel Sorokin and Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin on the implementation of the state programme “Energy and Resource Efficiency in Tatarstan”.
