On December 14, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University in Moscow, which was founded in 1906 and the first in the world introduced pediatric and biomedical departments. Today the university is the largest scientific-educational and medical centre of the country, including 8 departments, 115 departments, 143 clinical bases, as well as 3 own clinics. In total, more than 10,000 students, 2,500 postgraduate students and residents study at the university, including 121 students and 20 residents from Tatarstan.

On December 13, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Kazakhstan to take part in the event of the production of the first tire at the KamaTyresKZ, had a meeting with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

On December 13, in the city of Saran, Karaganda region of Kazakhstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar took part in a solemn ceremony of the production of the first Kazakh-made tire at KamaTyresKz. At the enterprise, the guests got acquainted with the stages of project implementation and visited the main production workshops.

On 12 December during his visit of the TOGG Car Plant in Bursa, which was established in 2018 for implementation of a national project of building the first domestic electric car, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was told that the plant is planning to produce cars with two different motor ratings, bringing up the production to 5 models in the future. 

On 12 December, speaking at a business forum held in the Turkish Province of Bursa, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan attaches special attention to expanding cooperation with Turkey aimed at strengthening Russia-Turkey relations. 

“We are deeply grateful to Presidents of our countries – Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Governments of both countries for the support given to joint Tatarstan-Turkey projects”, he said.

On 12 December at his meeting with the Governor of the Turkish Province of Bursa Yakup Canbolat, the Mayor of Bursa Alinur Aktaş  and the Chairman of the Board of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry  İbrahim Burkay , Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the hosting party for its help in implementation of joint projects of Tatarstan and Turkish business. “Your country is one of the main partners of Tatarstan. Turkish partners have invested about 2bn dollars into our republic”, he said. 

On 12 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working visit in the Province of Bursa, Turkey, had a meeting with the founder of the GÜRİŞ Holding and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dektash Company Tevfik Yamanturk.

On 12 December Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who heads a delegation from the republic comprising heads of large industrial enterprises and representatives of business, came on a working visit to Turkey to take part in a business forum in the Province of Bursa. 

On 10 December at their meeting in Dzhizak, delegations from Dzhizak regional Administration headed by Hokim Ergash Saliyev and of the Tatarstan Government headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Roman Shyakhutdinov , which came on a working visit to the Dzhizak IT-Park and the branch of the Kazan Federal University  in the city, discussed the current state of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and reached new agreements such as further diversification of structure and volumes of bilateral trade and promotion of national export.

On 10 December, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that spreading of virus infections can be observed in the republic, including the last week’s 14 per cent rise of Corona and 25 per cent of flue and ARVI.
