On 28 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin and the Head of the Federal Road Agency Roman Novikov took part in a meeting of the Presidium (Headquarters) of the Governmental Commission of regional development held at the Kazan Expo during the scientific and applied conference organized by the Rosavtodor (Federal Road Agency) on the topic of efficient approaches to implementation of road management in Russian entities. 

On 27 April at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Government of Sakha(Yakutia) Andrey Tarasenko  discussed issues of interregional cooperation, implementation of joint projects and the current social and economic situation.
The parties also outlined steps for further strengthening of business contacts.

On 27 April in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in Russian and Tatarstan state awards to more than 50 outstanding workers of the republic.

On 27 April, speaking at his meeting with the Director General of the Russian Post Company Mikhail Volkov in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that a post office is one of the key social facilities especially in the rural region. In the republic there are 1 111 post offices with more than 8 200 employees. Due to their work residents receive and send correspondence, buy essential goods, pay utility bills and receive pensions and money transfers on time, he informed.

On 27 April at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the State Company the Russian Highways Vyacheslav Petushenko discussed issues of road infrastructure development in the republic, in particular the construction of the speed highway M-12.

On 26 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with representatives of Tatar scientific, pedagogical and creative community in the Kazan Kremlin.

Before the meeting the Rais of the republic visited the Center of Written Heritage Mirashane and got acquainted with projects of rising awareness about handwritten heritage of Turkic-Tatar people. In particular, he was shown unique software for transliteration of printed Arabic texts in Old Tatar language into the modern Tatar Cyrillic alphabet.

On 26 May during celebrations of the Day of the Mother Tongue and the 137th birthday of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev laid flowers to the monument of the poet in the center of Kazan.

On 25 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of the INNOPROM. Central Asia, where Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, who is also the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade, Uzbekistan Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Xodjayev and Minister of Energy of the country Joʻrabek Mirzamahmudov gave their keynote speeches.

On 25 April at their meeting on the sidelines of the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Hokim of Tashkent region Zoir Mirzayev discussed possible spheres of cooperation.
