Rustam Minnikhanov assesses the pace of the harvesting campaign and visits sports facilities in the Nurlat region

On July 23, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov and Head of Nurlatsky region Damir Ishkineev arrived on a working visit in Nurlatsky municipal region of Tatarstan, where he got acquainted with the course of harvesting campaign and looked around a number of facilities of the region.

Minnikhanov had a meeting with machine operators, heads of farms, investors and heads of settlements of the Nurlat municipal region. An exhibition with the products of farmers, samples of grain and other crops grown in the fields of the region was organized.

According Ishkineev, for today 3,000 hectares have been threshed with the average yield about 36 centners per hectare. Fodder harvesting is carried out also at the expense of neighboring entities. Marat Zyabbarov said that it is necessary to intensify work in the field of animal husbandry, including livestock.

Rustam Minnikhanov also drew attention to the issue of supporting fighters who came home on a short vacation from the special military operation zone.

During the working trip, the Rais of Tatarstan got acquainted with the progress of the construction of the water treatment station. Work to ensure water supply in the city of Nurlat started under the programme of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov visited sports facilities in Nurlat - the indoor football arena "Tup" and the Tulpar sports palace. The "Tup" arena was opened in September 2022 under the national project "Sport is the norm of life”.

The «Tulpar» Sports Palace, opened in autumn 2020, is a sports hall for volleyball and basketball, a gym for wrestling, two swimming pools and stands for 70 seats.
