Rustam Minnikhanov gets acquainted with the progress of grain harvesting in Alekseevsky region of Tatarstan

On August 18, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Alekseevsky, Nurlatsky and Alkeevsky regions of the republic to get acquainted with the grain harvesting progress in the fields of the region.

The first area visited by Minnikhanov was Alekseevsky municipal region. The Rais of Tatarstan flew over the fields and visited the grain terminal in the village of Sakona, which was put into operation in the current year with the capacity for grain transshipment 300 thousand tonnes per year. Grain is brought here from all over the Kama region. Minnikhanov was informed that the first batch of grain was sent in June, in total 12,000 tonnes were shipped.

The peculiarity of this terminal is the year-round acceptance and shipment of grain crops. A meeting with machine operators, heads of farms and heads of settlements of the Alekseevsk municipal region was held in the village of Kurkul, at which they discussed the progress of harvesting in the fields of the region.

Minnikhanov also noted that this season was difficult for farmers and said that: “In such circumstances, it is important to keep livestock”.
