On January 19, the Bashir Rameev IT-park hosted a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications with participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Chernyshenko taking part via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Head of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov and other officials. Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin made a keynote report on the results of digitalization in Tatarstan in 2023 and the tasks for 2024.

During the meeting, Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Government of the country for decisions to support the IT sector. He emphasized that due to timely measures taken, it was possible to preserve this industry, despite the difficult situation. He also thanked Dmitry Chernyshenko for supporting the republic and participating in the meeting. “Tatarstan is one of the leading regions of digital transformation. The leadership of the country has given us high confidence in holding the first Phygital Games of the Future in the republic. Today, solid work in this area has been done: a federation of phygital sports has been established, and municipal and regional competitions, which we visited today, are being held. This is a sign for us to strengthen the work on the development of phygital sports,” Minnikhanov said. The meeting ended with the ceremony of handing in the state awards of the Russian Federation and Tatarstan to the most distinguished specialists of the IT industry.
