On April 28, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Czech Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Remek discussed issues of cooperation between Czech Republic and Tatarstan in the context of Russia- Czech relations.

On April 28, at a press conference after the annual shareholders meeting of TAIF group, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the work of the company in 2015 saying that in spite of difficult geopolitical situation, the results were positive. Also, the company’s efficiency has increased.

On April 27, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in opening of a new literature and sculpture park in Novy Kyrlay village, Tatarstan. The park was created on the initiative of a deputy of State Council Lutfulla Shafigullin.

On April 27, at the Zelenogolsk Gorky Shipbuilding Plant, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn ceremony of launching Gepard – 3.9 frigate for the Vietnamese Navy, the first frigate built under the second contract for the construction of this type of ships. 

On April 27, the 16th Russian and 11th Kazan venture fairs opened at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan.

Welcoming participants of the event, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked organizers of the fair, “who were one of the originators of the venture movement in our country” and expressed pecial gratitude to foreign partners. "I wish you all fruitful work"  he said.

On April 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a traditional session of heads of committees of the Association of innovative regions of Russia at Korston hotel.

On April 26, at his meeting with the delegation from Ireland headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Russia Adrian McDaid at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his hope that the current visit would leave good impression on the delegation. Minnikhanov congratulated Adrian McDaid on assignment to the position of the Ambassador.

On April 26, at Musa Dzhalil Tatar state opera and ballet theatre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed over awards to laureates of State prize named after G.Tukai.

On April 26, at a briefing in Kazan, Deputy Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on tourism Yekaterina Barabanova informed that one of the routes of “Silk way” rally will go through Kazan.

On April 26, at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Chairman of the State committee of the republic on tourism Yekaterina Baranova told that a folk show “Kazan” will be shown to Kazan tourists at Tugan avylym national complex every Saturday at 18.00 and 20.30 from May 1 till October 1.
