Rustam Minnikhanov at his meeting with Prime Minister of Thuringia Bodo Ramelow: I am sure that our cooperation will be fruitful

On June 3, on the results of their meeting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of Thuringia Bodo Ramelow signed a Memorandum of Understanding and protocol on cooperation.

Opening the meeting, Bodo Ramelow thanked Minnikhanov for a warm reception given to the delegation of Thuringia in Kazan on April 20 this year.

Ramelow emphasized that his colleagues were very much impressed by the Electronic Government and Electronic Document Flow projects.

Ramelow also noted such projects being implemented in Tatarstan, as work with young people, the construction of a satellite town Innopolis and others.

In his turn Minnikhanov also expressed gratitude to Bodo Ramelovu  especially for yesterday’s evening tour of Weimar.

Minnikhanov said that Thuringia is searching for new technology, new markets, new production facilities and the same is true  for Tatarstan. He also expressed confidence that all joint projects between Thuringia and Tatarstan will be realized.

“We need to learn from each other. Today our main task is to create conditions for cooperation between our business communities, sharing experiences and knowledge in the field of science and research in education,” he went on to say.

Minnikhanov briefly told about facilities he has visited today today in Jena.

“I am sure that our cooperation will be fruitful,” Minnikhanov said.
