Rustam Minnikhanov attends the screening of the "Final" film in Kazan

On May 7, at the Mir Cinema in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with the guests the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Culture of the republic Irada Ayupova, People’s Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irek Boguslavsky, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials attended the screening of the "Final" film.

"Final" is a film about the Russian national volleyball team and its famous 3-2 victory over Brazil in the final of the Olympics-2012 in London.

The coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Alekno and athletes of the team attended the pre-premiere show. Actor Denis Shvedov played the role of the outstanding coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Alekno in the film. It was Alekno who led the never-before-won volleyball team to a historic match with the powerful Brazilian team. Dmitry Guberniev acts as the commentator of the final match in the film. General producers of the film are Andrey Krylov, Aleksander Umansky. The film is directed by Peter Zelenov, Vladimir Presnyakov, Oleg Presnyakov.. The author of the idea for the film was the People’s Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irek Boguslavsky. The film will be released on 8 May 2025.
