On 26 April, speaking at a regular Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  said that on the coming week we will be celebrating the Holiday of Spring and Labour and that May 1st has always been a symbol of unity of workers and respect of the society to laboring men.

He gave an errand to organize topical events and ensure their broad information coverage.

“May holidays people traditionally go out, it is the beginning of summer season but it is important to remember that from 14 May we have a special fire hazard regime in the republic,” the Rais of the republic said and gave an errand to employees of the Emergencies Ministry, fire brigades and law-enforcement bodies to ramp up preventive work in this sphere.

On 25 April in his address dedicated to the Mother Tongue Day and 139th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the event and said: 

“From time immemorial native speech carries the great heritage of ancestors and wisdom of the past. Beauty and diversity of the world, deep feelings and eternal values are passed with mother tongue.

On 25 April at the Kazan Federal University the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the University Supervisory Board with the Counselor to Russian President Igor Levitin, who is the Doctor Honoris Causa of KFU, taking part in it via videoconference.

On 25 April in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam, Minnikhanov held a meeting of financial, treasury and tax bodies of the republic where its participants discussed results of the fulfillment of the consolidated regional budget in the first three months of the current year and set forth tasks of the financial bodies for the remaining period of 2025.

On 24 April, speaking at his meeting with the Founder and the Chairman of Enso Group Vinay Maloo in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude for the attention attached to the development of cooperation with the republic. He reminded that Tatarstan has gained an experience of interaction with India and there is a certain legal base of the cooperation for example the agreement between the Chamber of Commerce of the republic and the Confederation of Indian Industry.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the Investments Council of the republic with some municipalities taking part in it via videoconference.

On 24 April Tatarstan Prime-Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the Council of Mendeleevsk municipal region of the republic where the Head of the region Radmir Belyayev informed that he was leaving his position as he will continue his work in local self-government bodies of Nizhnekamsk region. 

On 24 April, at their in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov and Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Deputy Chair Nihat Zeybekci, who is also a member of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic World” and who came to Tatarstan on a working trip, discussed issues taking part in a meeting of the Group and in the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” to be held in May of the current year.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding which considered promising projects in oil and gas chemistry branch.

On 23 April, speaking at his meeting with Belarus’ Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the republic highly appreciates an opportunity of expanding interaction with Belarus within the framework of friendly Russia-Belarus relations. He stated that leaders of both countries actively support the development of bounds at the regional level.
