Rustam Minnikhanov and Mintimer Shaimiev take part in the 11th meeting of Tatarstan State Council spring session

On 17 July the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev and the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the 11th meeting of Tatarstan State Council spring session held by the Chairman of the Council Farid Mukhametshin and which considered 16 issues. 

The members of the Council approved in the first reading a draft law on introducing amendments into the Budget code of the republic as the Chairman of the Committee of Budget, Taxes and Finances Leonid Yakunin explained that these amendments were caused by a necessity to harmonize the regional legislation and bring it into line with the federal one.

The members of the Council also approved in the first reading a draft law on introducing amendments into the regional law on the development of SMEs, the aim of which is to facilitate the development of family business in the republic, and a draft law on introducing amendments into some regulatory acts of the republic, such as restrictions to sell petrol to the minors with the aim of preventing children’s road traumatism and deaths in traffic accidents.

Sariya Saburskaya has once again become the Human Rights Commissioner in Tatarstan as Parliamentarians supported her candidacy.
