On 10 May, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Zinnatullina informed about 25 per cent of work completed in repairing roads and installing lighting by the regional Our Yard programme and the amount of children’s and sports equipment stored at warehouses of the republic which will be later installed in Kazan, Naberezhnyye Chelny and Nizhmekamsk regions.

On 9 May at their meeting in Kazan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and a delegation of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia (Moldova) - the Deputy Chairman of the Gagauzia Executive Committee Viktor Petrov and the member of Moldova Parliament Aleksandr Sukhodoskiy who came to Kazan to take part in celebrations of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) - discussed strengthening their cooperation in various spheres. 

On 9 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the Chairman of the state Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and participants of the special military operation (SVO) took part in a solemn ceremony dedicated to the erection of the memorial stone on the construction site of a future memorial complex dedicated to participants of the SVO in the Victory Park in Kazan.

On 9 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the Chairman of the state Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in a solemn ceremony of laying flowers to the Eternal flame in the Victory Park in Kazan.

On 9 May at a ceremony of honoring the memory of Soviet Soldiers who fought in the WWII, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Chief of Staff of the regional Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov, WWII veterans and representatives of the public patriotic and youth organizations laid flowers to graves of the fallen.

On 8 May at his meeting with Kharis hazrat Salikhov  in the Government house of the republic held with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Rais of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated the WWII veteran with the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic was and wished him good health. 

 

On May 8, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Minister of Culture of the republic Irada Ayupova, the Chairman of the Writers' Union of Tatarstan Rkail Zaydullin, People's Poet of Tatarstan Renat Kharisov and representatives of the public took part in the ceremony of unveiling the monument to the writer, poet and war veteran Fatykh Karim, which was dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the WWII and took place in the "Molodezhny" square in Kazan.

On 8 May in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the organizing committee of events celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Victory, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, members of the Russian State Duma, representatives of the community, enterprises and organizations, Mass Media and head of municipalities taking part in it.

On 8 May at the secondary school 42 in Kazan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, representatives of the All-Russia children’s and youth military patriotic movement “Yunarmiya”, participants of the special military operation (SVO), and teachers and schoolchildren took part in a ceremony of opening a memorial bust to the Hero of Russia, the participant of the SVO Damir Gilemkhanov held with participation of him mother Linariya and sister Ruzilya Gilemkhanovs.

On May 7, at the Mir Cinema in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov together with the guests the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Culture of the republic Irada Ayupova, People’s Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irek Boguslavsky, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials attended the screening of the "Final" film.
