Rustam Minnikhanov visits Aksubaevo region

On 20 July the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov looked round the fields of Aksubaevo region and got acquainted with the harvest work progress.  The total area under crops in the region is 78.9 thousand hectares, including 44.2 thousand hectares of spring crops and 22.5 thousand hectares of winter crops. 

After the head of the region reported about the development of cattle breeding, the Rais of the republic had a meeting with farm machine operators, heads of farms, investors and heads of settlements of the region, where he thanked agrarians for active work and good results in the agriculture. He specifically noted major investors for their contribution to the region’s economy. At the same time, the Rais of the republic drew attention to the need to develop livestock farming and increase the livestock population.

“There are many questions about roads, especially in rural areas. This year we have added funding and will continue this work. We also plan to increase funding for water (work) in the coming years,” he concluded.  

Then, the Rais of Tatarstan was shown unmanned systems for spraying and desiccating fields with agrodrones which are used by private farms and large agribusiness holdings in conditions where large machinery cannot operate due to various conditions, such as bad weather or absence of road access.
