On 17 April in Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an expanded meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who came on official visit to Russia.
On 17 April, speaking at a meeting of the organizing committee of the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” held by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said just one month is left till the event and its business programme is rather diverse and informative.
On 16 April during his visit to Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Tatarstan students of the university.
Currently there are 350 students from the republic at the university and participants of the meeting asked about opportunities in Tatarstan for internship and work at scientific and research centers and enterprises. Rustam Minnikhanov stated that enterprises attach special attention to training qualified specialists and currently more than 5 500 students of universities of the republic receive contract on employer-sponsored education. Moreover, branches of university chairs are established at enterprises, he informed.
On 16 April during his visit to Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of his commencement as the Doctor Honoris Causa and handing him in the Diploma and the gown held in the ceremonial Hall of the Scientific Council of the university.
On 16 April during his working trip to St Petersburg, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University established in 1899. Currently the university trains 34 089 students including 350 of them from Tatarstan and comprises 12 institutes, units of supplementary education, the New Industrial Technologies competences center and other units.
On 15 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Tatarstan First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Ilnur Gubaydullin informed that 268 illegal waste dumps have been revealed since the beginning of the two-months cleaning campaign which started on 1 April of the current year as a support to the national project “Ecological Wellbeing”.
On 15 April at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairwoman of Russian Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova discussed such topics as the work of the election system at the regional and municipal levels and exercising electoral rights of citizens. The parties also discussed the experience of the republic using its electoral system as an example.
On 13 April in his address to residents of the republic on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote: “Today Russia is celebrating an important and meaningful holiday - the Maecenas and Benefactor Day which is the symbol of the recognition and respect of those who demonstrate generosity and bounty making the world a better place.
On 12 April during his working trip to Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the X youth forum “Bridge Moscow-Tatarstan” held at Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with participation of the Rector of the University Stanislav Propkofyev, outstanding athletes Danis Zaripov and Rinat Dasayev and other famous people.
On 12 April, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to heads of municipalities to take the maintenance of improved yards under their stricter control.
Before this the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities: Nailya Zinnatullina informed that the preparation of yards to the construction season has been completed and today their residents will be shown resulting schemes of yards improvement according to the Our Yard programme.
