Aleksey Pesoshin awards winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year”

On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan. 

About 300 applications were submitted from 45 municipalities of the republic, and, speaking at the meeting Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated participants of the event with the upcoming International Women’s Day and said: “On this day, the whole world blossoms with bright colors. We admire your beauty and talents. The annual "Woman of the Year. Man of the Year: A Woman's View" competition, held at the initiative of the public organization "Women of Tatarstan," is recognition of the multifaceted role you play in society.” 

He emphasized that that the women of Tatarstan are active participants in all spheres of life. “You are the world of love, kindness, motherhood and creation. We thank you, dear women, for your energy, enthusiasm, internal strength and inspiration. You are our priceless treasure.”

In conclusion he once again congratulated women with the holiday and handed in awards to winners of the competition.
