Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in XV All-Russia Forum of Tatar Religious Leaders

On 17 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaykhraziev, who is also the Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress, the Chairman of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the republic Kamil Samigullin, the Chairman of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Russia Ravil Gaynutdin , the Chairman of the  Central Spiritual Board of Muslims of Russia Talgat Tadjutdin and more than  1000 religious leaders from 78 entities of Russia and Belarus took part in the XV All-Russia Forum of Tatar Religious Leaders held at the International Exhibition Center Kazan Expo.

Speakers of the plenary session told about courage and heroism of Tatars in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) and at the special military operation, stated the necessity of ramping up work with the youth and focused on patriotic education and love for the Motherland.

Having thanked the participants of the forum for interesting and informative entries, Rustam Minnikhanov especially stated the contribution of religious leaders living outside Tatarstan. “Today we attach special attention to issues of preservation of our Mother tongue, national traditions and rich historic and cultural heritage of the Tatars. And you, dear friends, play an important role here. You facilitate education of young people, teach them respect to the elderly and love to the Fatherland and strengthen spiritual and moral values. You are our reliable foundation and we are grateful to you for that, “he concluded and handed in a number of state awards of the republic to the most outstanding religious leaders.
