On January 24, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of honouring FINA President Julio Maglione and Executive Director of International Swimming Federation Cornel Marculescu. 

On January 23, speaking at a regional videoconference meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov said that as many as 11,000 tractors, more than 6,000 seeders, over 600 sowing-machines, 5,700 weeders and other agricultural machinery will be used during the coming sowing campaign in Tatarstan.  

Today, the RT State Council hosted an Open Day for the teachers involved in the arranging of the parliamentary lesson-2016. The guests of the parliament were heads of methodological associations of history and social studies, teachers, whose students became winners of All-Russian Olympiad in history, as well as the winners of previous parliamentary lessons. This year the parliamentary lesson called “Citizen. Society. State” will be held on February 8-13.

On January 22, speaking at a meeting of regional State Alcohol Inspectorate Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that the sales of legal alcohol products decreased by four per cent, while that of vodka – by one per cent in Tatarstan.

On January 22, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Deputy Head of Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation Vyacheslav Didenko and Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov discussed the situation in the alcohol market, as well as methods of preventing the distribution of counterfeit products.

On January 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a number of events within the framework of the World Economic Forum 2016 in Davos.

It should be reminded that the forum is being held on January 20-23 in Davos. Its main theme this year is “Mastering the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. Regional safety, climatic changes, situation with large wholesale goods and other issues are also under discussion. 

The meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 4th Republican festival of amateur performers among veterans called “Balkysh” (“Shining”) has been held today in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On January 21, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Head of Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Sergey Dankvert discussed issued of further cooperation and  implementation of measures in terms of veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance in the republic.

On January 20, during his working trip to Davos (January 19-22) to take part in World Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a session “Around the world without fuel or fear” held in the Congress Hall of the Congress Centre.

On January 20, at a session of Tatarstan Ministry of Justice, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov said that by results of 2015, the ministry reached annual indexes and indicators of work efficiency estimate.
