Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Arbitration court of the Volga district in Kazan.

On December 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a ceremony of honoring winners of Shotgun World Championship 2015, IV Koresh World Championship and XIII Wrestling World Championship 2015.

On December 22, at Tatarstan Government House with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Director General of OOO “Gazprom Natural Gas Motor Fuel” Mikhail Likhachev signed an agreement on constructing a complex for production of liquefied natural gas and network of cryogenic filling stations in Tatarstan.

On December 22, at Tatarstan Government House Professor of Economics of Harvard University Kenneth Rogoff delivered a lecture on economical topical issues in current financial and geopolitic conditions for leading authorities of Tatarstan Republic, where Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and  Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part. 

On December 22, within celebrating Mawlid an-Nabi (the Birth of Prophet Muhammad) Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the opening ceremony of Galeev mosque.

On December 21, at Tatarstan Government House, opening the meeting with representatives of federal and regional mass media, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that such events have become traditional on New Year’s eve.

On December 21, Tatarstan President  Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Kravchenko participated in  erecting a memorial sign at the place of constructing a combined cycle gas turbine in the central heating and power plant № 1.  The project was supposed to be implemented by December, 2018, but the President gave an errand to fulfill the project in two years. 

On December 21, during his meeting with rectors of Tatarstan higher educational institutions at the main building of Kazan Federal University Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov outlined that changes undergoing in the education system can be described as positive and the university is not only an educational establishment, but also an innovation centre and a place for training specialists who can implement these innovations. 
According to Minnikhanov, the most important priority of the republic is to bring up young Tatarstaners. To provide high quality of education, facilities, academic and laboratory buildings and level of teaching staff are essential, especially teachers’ training must meet high requirements. Nowadays there is a great demand in architects and designers in the republic.
