Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the opening of a new building of the Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary

On April 6, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of a new building of the dispensary departments of the Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary.

The opening of the Nizhny Vyazovskaya outpatient clinic of  the Zelenodolsk Central Regional Hospital was also held via videoconference.

Tatarstan Minister of Healthcare Marat Sadykov, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Head of Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) in Tatarstan Marina Patyashina, employees of the Ministry of Healthcare of Tatarstan, representatives of Rospotrebnadzor in the republic and Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare in Tatarstan, as well as representatives of the construction company that built the facility took part the opening ceremony.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister for Social Policy Tatyana Golikova and Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko congratulated everyone on this significant event.

Today, the opening of various health-care facilities in Ulyanovsk region and the Republic of Buryatia has also taken place via videoconference.

Сhief medical officer of the Regional Clinical Tuberculosis Dispensary Aleksey Alekseyev received a symbolic key from the new facility. The building will house all structural units of the dispensary this will enable optimum use of all resources.

The children’s and fluorography examination departments, outpatient endoscopic service, functional diagnostics rooms as well as the bacteriological and clinical diagnostic laboratories and the facility management will be located in the policlinic. Phthisiatricians, 7 doctors of narrow specialties - urologist, gynecologist, orthopedist, ophthalmologist, surgeon, pulmonologist, otorhinolaryngologist will receive the patients.

She also emphasized that on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, from January 1, 2021, a regional programme of the modernization of primary care setting is being implemented.

From 2021 to 2023, up to 90 billion roubles will be allocated for the modernization of primary care setting, Russian Deputy Prime Minister for Social Policy said. Until 2025, it is planned to allocate 500 billion roubles from the federal budget for these purposes.

Murashko emphasized that despite the COVID infection, in 2021, as many as 221 facilities were completed in the Russian regions, including 214 of them under the regional modernization programmes of primary care setting.

Minnikhanov thanked the country’s leadership and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustina and Golikova for their attention to the regions. He said that in 2021 Tatarstan allocated over 10 billion roubles to strengthen the material and technical base of the healthcare industry. Minnikhanov emphasized that this includes the provision of cars and purchase of medical equipment and the construction of new facilities.

Tatarstan President assured the country’s leadership, the Government and the Ministry of Health of Russia that all the planned tasks in the region will be fulfilled.
