Rustam Minnikhanov has congratulated the Sintez water polo team with winning the Russian championship in the 2021/2022 season

On 8 April at his meeting with the Sintez water polo team in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated athletes with the successful season of 2021/2022 and winning the Russian championship.

Addressing the athletes, Minnikhanov said: “During the whole season you have demonstrated persistently high skill level and having won 26 plays, you have rightly won the tournament”. He also reminded that this team has won this title in the fourth time in the club history and the third season in a row.

“It is especially important for us that the whole team fully consists of trainees of the domestic water polo and many athletes are members of the country team”, he concluded.

In the end of the meeting, Minnikhanov handed in the state awards and Letters of Gratitude of the President to the Sintez athletes.

In his turn, on behalf of the team its captain Sergey Lisunov handed in a book and a ball from the Sintez water sports club to Rustam Minnikhanov.
