As many as 2m498 square meters of housing has been commissioned in Tatarstan which makes 80.6% of the yearly plan

On 5 August, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with all municipalities of the republic via videoconference in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about programme activities in this spheres, modernization of infrastructure and provision of accommodation to certain categories of citizens.

He informed that as of August 5 as many as2m498 square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan which makes 80.6% of the yearly plan.

He also informed about work being done in providing accommodation for 930 orphaned children, 81 young families and 34 families with many children and 6 accommodation certificates to be issued to forced migrants, Chernobyl liquidators and migrants from the Far North.

After that the Minister reported about programmes of construction of social and cultural facilities, high schools and medical facilities in the republic.

He also told about 5 facilities included in 2 programmes of environmental protection, such as reconstruction of waste treatment plant in Kazan, re-cultivation of the Samosyrovo dumping ground and others, 4 of them being a part of the Ecology National Project.

Marat Ayzatullin also informed about four indoor football pitches, 6 children’s recreation camps and 8 buildings of regional executive committees under construction by Tatarstan programmes.

He told about modernization of engineering networks being implemented by 5 regional and two federal programmes such as  drinking water supply and street lighting, repairs of gas supply lines and replacement of heating boilers.

Speaking about labour safety protection in the region, Marat Ayzatullin reported that since the beginning of the current year representatives of self-regulating organizations have carried out 1 456 inspections and the Inspection of the State Construction Surveillance  - 661 regulatory and supervisory checks and all violation revealed since January of the current year have been eliminated.
