RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of Association of financial-industrial groups of Russia Oleg Soskovets in Kazan Kremlin. The parties discussed cooperation between Tatarstan and Association of financial-industrial groups of Russia on some investment projects, state of Tatarstan economy, development of the most priority industrial sectors.

Lately we are witnessing development of cooperation with many Islamic countries. We can say that Russia has defined strategic partners at Muslim East. It has become a predicted partner of Islamic world. This was announced today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at the second international summit of Islamic business and finance.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with creative group headed by Boris Krasnov and Igor Krutoy in House of RT government. Guests had been invited to Kazan by Rustam Minnikhanov.

Active young people presented innovative projects and youth programs to RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in the camp “Towards Universiade”. Youth shift is organized on the base of Sport centre of RT Ministry of the interiors (Mirny settlement, Kazan). Among the participants are representatives of Republican youth forum – members of delegation from Tatarstan who will go to All-Russian youth educational forum “Seliger-2010” and participants of youth shift of volunteers. Upon the whole young people from 28 regions of Russia, Estonia and Egypt are in youth shift.

The European Shotgun Championship made a start in Tatarstan (the Shotgun Complex, the Verkhny Uslon District) on June 26. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening ceremony. Among other participants of the opening of the Championship were President of the Russian Shooting Union and of the European Shooting Confederation Vladimir Lisin, Secretary of the Council under the Russian President on physical culture and sport, Aleksey Kulakovsky, Executive director of the Russian Olympic Committee Marat Bariev, Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafis Burganov and Technical Delegate of the European Shooting Confederation Petros Kyritsis.

Level of unemployment in republic makes 2, 79 % from the number of economically active population. This information was presented today by RT Deputy Minister of labor, unemployment and social protection Klara Tazetdinova at the meeting of republican interdepartmental commission on raising life standards and incomes legalization. The session was held in RT Cabinet in format of video conference under the chairmanship of RT First deputy Premier R.F. Muratov.

Annual meeting of JSC “Tatneft” shareholders was held in Almetyevsk under chairmanship of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Director general of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov reported on company’s activity in 2009. “Last year appeared to be the checking on economic stability for “Tatneft” under conditions of world crisis. Results of enormous purposeful work carried out within previous years on financial strengthening and improvement of corporate management allowed to bear all challenges in a proper manner and continue realizing strategic goals on stabilization and increasing volumes of profitable oil and gas production, expansion of resource base and product line diversification.

It is expected that 950,000 square meters of housing will be commissioned in the Republic of Tatarstan in the first half of 2010. 1 million square meters is to be commissioned in the second half of the year. The statement was made by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting on issues regarding capital repairs of blocks of flats, housing commissioning and construction for Great Patriotic War veterans on June 25.

The Agreement on trade, economic, research, social and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Leningrad Oblast and the plan of events aimed at its implementation in 2011-2012 were signed at the Kazan Kremlin on June 24.

Tatarstan President met with President of Russian Academy of sciences, Director of Russian oncological scientific centre named after N.N.Blokhin Mikhail Davydov in Kazan Kremlin. RT Minister of health care Airat Farrakhov also took part in the meeting.
