Today RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in special session of Council of Vysokogorsky municipal region.
Deputies discussed the following issues: early termination of powers of Head of Vysokogorsky municipal region – chairman of Council of Vysokogorsky municipal region Nagim Sagdiev, retirement of head of region’s executive committee Yury Sadreev, laying responsibilities of head of executive committee on Rustam Kalimullin, announcement of contest for replacing post of head of region’s executive committee.

Today RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov visited Mamadysh municipal region and attended session of 33d special session of Council of Mamadysh municipal region.  At the session it was announced that head of district administration - chairman of Council of Mamadysh municipal region Rustam Kalimullin early terminated his powers in connection with transfer to another post.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan in Russia Zaurbek Turisbekov. RT Minister of the interiors Asgat Safarov attended the meeting that was held in International equestrian-sports complex “Kazan” during Sabantui celebrations.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov announced at the meeting with Deputy minister of waqfs and Islamic affairs of State Kuwait Adel Abdallah Al-Falah that Tatarstan would continue developing cultural ties with Kuwait and would do its utmost to settle business relationships.

Turkey was represented by Deputy of Great National Assembly of Turkey, Deputy head of fraction of governing party of justice and development, chairman of parliament group of friendship between Russia and Turkey Salih Kapusuz and Mayor of Istanbul Kadir Topbas. RT Deputy prime minister – minister of culture Zilya Valeeva, Director of department of external relations – Aide to RT President on international issues Timur Akulov, Chairman of RT State Council committee on culture, science, education and national issues Razil Valeev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Plenipotentiary of RT in Turkey Radik Gimatdinov presented Tatarstan.

Head of republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited President’s library named after Eltsin in St. Petersburg.
Tatarstan President is in St. Petersburg with two-day visit (June, 17-18, 2010).
The library named after Eltsin is located in historical building of governing synod built in 1829-1835 by project of architect Rossi.

The Agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and JSC Oil company Lukoil was signed in St. Petersburg on June 18. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Lukoil Director General Vagit Alekperov put their signatures to the agreement. The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the 14th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with RF Deputy minister of natural resources and ecology Igor Maidanov in House of RT government. The key topic was organization of activity of Federal state institution “National park “The lower Kama” on the territory of Tukaevsky municipal district of Republic Tatarstan.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with representatives of the Tatar community of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region on June 17.

The head of the republic is on a two-day working visit to St. Petersburg on 17-18 June 2010. One of the goals of the visit is to take part in the 14th International Economic Forum.
