FIFA inspection commission arrives in Kazan

FIFA inspection commission has arrived in the capital of Tatarstan – Kazan.

Members of delegation were met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov, Director General of Executive directorate of XXVII World summer universiade 2013 Vladimir Leonov.

The delegation is accompanied by RF Minister of sport, tourism and youth policy Vitaly Mutko.

International airport “Kazan” was briefly presented to the guests. Representatives of the airport told about its acceptance rate, park of aircrafts and stages of reconstruction. Full reconstruction of airport “Kazan” is planned to be finished by 2013 year when Kazan will be hosting Universiade.

After being in the airport members of FIFA inspection commission and accompanying persons went to see sport objects.

Within the visit guests will see sites for constructing football stadium for 45 000 places, football stadium “Olymp” of Tupolev Kazan State Technical University.

We remind that Kazan is in the list of Russian cities – participants of applying campaign for holding World football championship 2018/22.
