Best volunteers from Tatarstan take part in first summer youth Olympic Games in Singapore

Best volunteers from Tatarstan are taking part in first summer youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Young volunteers work as interpreters and in a group accompanying officials of national Olympic committees.

Experience gained by Tatarstan volunteers during their work at sport competitions of international level will be used at maximum when preparing and holding summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan.

Earlier 150 volunteers from Tatarstan were attracted for Universiade 2009 in Belgrad (Serbia) and were highly assessed by organizers of competitions.

All volunteers being in Singapore are members of volunteer movement started in Kazan within preparation for XXVII World summer student games. All of them know foreign languages and have knowledge about Singapore and summer youth Olympic Games.

Tatarstan volunteers will stay in Singapore till August 26.
