On 3 March the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, Russian Minister of Sports Oleg Matytsin and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of closing the International Multi-sports Tournament “The Games of the Future at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center . 

The Russian Deputy Prime Minister thanked all those who provided services, comfort and security of the Games participants and spectators. “Once again you have proved what you can do in Kazan at an impossible level!” he said. 

On 3 March the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, Russian Minister of Sports Oleg Matytsin and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of awarding the best volunteers of the International Multi-sports Tournament “The Games of the Future” held right before the ceremony on the phygital Games closure at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center. 

On 2 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all regions taking part in it via videoconference, the Head of the Fund “Institute of Tatarstan Cities Development” Nailya Zinatullina informed that 33 complaints concerning the Our Yard programme were submitted by residents of the republic from 17 February till 2 March of the current year.

On March 1, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Turkey as part of the Russian delegation, headed by Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov to take part the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

On February 29, in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of announcing the Address of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly.

On 28 February, speaking at the resulting XXVIII session of the Kazan City Duma, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the team of the Kazan Mayor’s Office and the Mayor Ilsur Metshin for the high level of hospitality and huge work being done by Kazan during preparations and hosting the first International Multi-Sports Tournament “The Games of the Future” and reception given to athletes and guests of the tournament.

On 28 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a videoconference meeting with Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Oleg Korobchenko, the Director General of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Alabuga Timur Shagivaleev and other officials taking part in it.

On 28 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Education and Science Ilsur Khadiullin and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the renovated Gymnasium N19 located in a densely populated district of Kazan. 

On 28 February within the framework of the action “Kind Kazan” the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in shipping humanitarian aid from Kazan to the cities of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye, the trucks with which departed from the edifice of Administration of Soviet district of Kazan.

On 27 February, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic on implementation of Ecology National Projects and plans in environmental protection in 2024, Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Shadrikov told that since 2019 the republic has implemented 30 actions for 17.6bn rubles by 6 federal projects, such as “Recovery of the Volga”, Preservations of Unique Water Bodies, Pure Water, Preservations of Forests and the Complex System of Waste Management.
