On August 6, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov paid a working visit to Yutazy municipal region of the republic, where he got acquainted with the progress of harvesting campaign, assessed the pace of grain harvesting in the fields, and also talked to machine operators, farm managers, investors and heads of settlements in the Yutazy region.
Rustam Minnikhanov was informed that to date 15 per cent of the planned area has been threshed. The crop yield in the region makes 34 centners per hectare. Forage has been prepared and mineral fertilizers have been applied.
Concerning the milk production, the daily gross milk yield makes 50.8 tonnes. The number of cattle in the Yutazy region in agricultural enterprises is just over 10,000 heads. During the conversation with Rustam Minnikhanov, the issue of deterioration of housing and utility services was raised. In the region, this figure exceeds 60% in all key areas.
Data on the economic status of the Yutazy region, the financial and economic activities of agricultural producers, including the industrial production index, data on the development of the Urussu industrial park was presented at the stand. Minnikhanov emphasized that the region - despite being one of the most remote in the republic - demonstrates good indicators in all sectors.
During his visit to the Yutazy region, Minnikhanov also got acquainted with the conditions of stay and organization of children's recreation at the Dubravushka health camp, existing since 1957. In the last two years, the facility was reconstructed.
The camp has created an accessible environment at social infrastructure facilities. There are specialized, thematic shifts and weekend tours.
