On 6 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Bugulma municipality, visited the Naratly cattle breeding farm, where he and people accompanying him got acquainted with the work of the complex which consists of four cow sheds, a calf house, the young stock housing area, the milking room and the forage warehouse.
Currently the farm has 8 374 cows with the daily milk production of 120 tonnes.
Later the same day Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with farm machine operators, heads of the farms and heads of settlement of Bugulma region, where they talked about grain harvest and the development of agriculture in the region.
Speaking at the meeting, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov said that currently the Bugulma region ranks the 11th among other municipalities of the republic and added that the achievements of the Naratly Farm plaid a positive role in raising the agricultural indices of the region.
He emphasized that there is a necessity to ramp up work with small farms.
Talking to agricultural producers, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the region has a positive development dynamics and expressed his special gratitude to large investors who are making a substantial contribution into the development of Bugulma municipality.
“Currently there is a burning issue of replacement of communal engineering network, and we have decided to develop a special programme on this issue,” he emphasized and added that the degree of the network wear in the region is 70 per cent.
