06.08.2024

On 6 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Bavly municipality, visited the Berlek cattle breeding farm in the settlement of Tatar Tumbarla, the first stage of construction of which has been completed and consists of a cow shed for 600 cows and a milking room. The second stage is planned to be completed in October 2024 and will have a closed area for ABP and a separator.

Later the same day  at his meeting with farm machine operators, heads of the farms and heads of settlement of Bugulma region,  Rustam Minnikhanov was informed by  the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov that the animal stock of the region is 10 thousand cows with the daily gross milk production nearly 42 tonnes.

At the same time, he said, the region ranks only 43-d in the efficiency of agriculture, even though it has a high soil bonitet and accordingly a promising plant cultivation potential. “You should work harder and be more active in using grants. It is also necessary to develop private farms more actively,” the Minister said.

Answering a question from heads of settlements about the wear and tear of the engineering network, Rustam Minnikhanov said that he has already given an errand to the government of the republic to develop a special programme on modernization of utilities network. “We will launch a programme for modernization of water supply, canalization and heat supply. We will do this work,” he concluded.
