Rustam Minnikhanov visits the multi-profile medical complex the Millenium clinic in Kazan

On 9 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin, the Minister of Sports of the republic Vladimir Leonov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials looked round the multi-profile medical complex the Millenium clinic located in Kozina Street in Kazan, where he got acquainted with the scope of work of the complex and was told about its further development.

The complex comprises not only a medical clinic but also its own hotel and can see more than 150 thousand patients and perform up to 20 thousand surgical operations.

Rustam Minnikhanov and people accompanying him looked round the admission room, the departments of endoscopy, rehabilitation, the surgery unit and the in-patient department, visited a conference hall and got acquainted with hotel suits.

The Rais of Tatarstan was told about medical aid provided by the clinic and was shown the special equipment used for rehabilitation of patients and athletes. He was also told about a unique method of treatment of spinal pathologies including herniated discs.

In the end of the visit, Rustam Minnikhanov talked to the staff of the clinic, gave a positive assessment to the environment and equipment of the hospital and wished them good work.
