On November 10, at their meeting in the Governor's Palace of the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head coach of Russian team, vice-president of the Federation of synchronized swimming of Russia Tatyana Pokrovskaya discussed the issues of development of sports in the region and the experience of Tatarstan in holding international sports events.

On November 10, at the Governor's Palace of the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in a state award of the Russian Federation – the Order of Honour to Director General of TAIF Production and Investment Company of Tatarstan Albert Shigabutdinov.
