Rustam Minnikhanov: Our task is to provide a favorable business environment throughout Tatarstan

On December 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with entrepreneurs – members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov emphasized that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry makes a great contribution to the strengthening of inter-regional and foreign economic activity of Tatarstan.

“The development of entrepreneurship is the priority of our republic. We have appropriate programmes and various forms of support. We involve all our municipalities in this work. Every week we сonsider reports on the state of business in our regions,” Tatarstan President noted.

Entrepreneurs hold an important place in the economic development of the republic, Minnikhanov said. “Our task is to provide a favorable business environment throughout Tatarstan,” he added.

According to Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the republic Shamil Ageev, who also took part in the meeting, the required  infrastructure to support business, including technology parks, industrial sites, and territories with preferential regime has been created in Tatarstan. The culture of direct interaction between state officials and businessmen to discuss urgent topics is constantly developing. The most complicated and systemic issues are dealt with as part of the Tatarstan Presidential Council for Entrepreneurship.

At the end of the meeting, Minnikhanov handed in state award of the Republic of Tatarstan to members of the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
