On October 14, immediately upon arrival in Cairo, at the Al-Ittihadia Palace Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The meeting was held on the eve of the official visit of the Egyptian President to the Russian Federation.

On October 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in the Arab Republic of Egypt, was met by Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar and Charge d'affaires a.i. of Russia in Egypt Svetlana Zubova at the Cairo International Airport.

On October 12, at the Governor's Palace of the Kazan Kremlin, speaking at a meeting with Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that a visit of a large delegation of the East Kazakhstan region will contribute to the further development of cooperation with Kazakhstan, including at the interregional level.
