On 22 March Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Deputy Head of the government Yuriy Borisov visited the Kazan Aircraft Plant, where they, accompanied by Director General of the United Aircraft company Vadim Korolev and Director of the plant Nikolay Savitskikh walked around the assembly shops and got acquainted with the implementation of the program of reproduction of TU-160 bombers. Issues of increasing production of TU-214 passenger airplanes were also discussed during the visit. 

On 21 March at a meeting with entrepreneurs in the Chamber of Commerce of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main task for today was to preserve the economy and jobs. To ensure this the power bodies and business should work together systemically, he added.

On 21 March a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on city building in historical settlements held byTatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic considered a number of projects of the 6 facilities to be built in Kazan and one each in Sviazhsk and Laishevo which are historical settlements.

On March 19, speaking at a videoconference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported on the implementation of regional programmes for the capital repair of social and cultural facilities and multi-apartment buildings.

On March 19, speaking at a Saturday meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that since March 19, the traditional spring agricultural fairs have been resumed in the cities of Tatarstan.

On March 19, speaking at a traditional videoconference in the Government House of the republic with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that implementation of all planned federal and regional projects will continue in Tatarstan, and the relevant activities will be fully funded.

On 18 March in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Olympic figure skating champion Kamila Valiyeva, who was born in Kazan in 2006 and moved to Moscow in 2012, and her mother Alsu Valiyeva. 

On 18 March at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Director General of Russian Post in operational management and retail Aleksey Laptev discussed development of the postal branch in Tatarstan and other important issues of the post-office. At the meeting Laptev introduced to Minnikhanov the newly appointed Director of the “Tatarstan Pochtasy” Company, the branch of the “Russian Post”, Ilnur Makhmutov.

On 18 March at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Commander of the Armed Forces of the National Guards in the Volga Federal District Colonel-General Aleksandr Poryadin discussed issues of providing security and other important issues of operation of the National Guard armed forces.
