Rustam Minnikhanov: Russian President gave a positive assessment to our proposals for the development of the construction industry and housing and utility services

On June 27, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular videoconference with participation of Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities of the republic.

Tatarstan President emphasized at the meeting of the Presidium of the Russian State Council Russian President Vladimir Putin was presented a draft of «The Strategy of development of the Construction Industry and Housing and Utility Sector till 2030 with a forecast up to 2035.

Tatarstan President – the Head of the relevant commission was one of the main speakers.

“The President of the country gave a positive assessment of our proposals, including proposals of the regions and the Republic of Tatarstan. Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities needs to work out our proposals at the federal level to include in the list of instructions of the President of the country,” he said.

Minnikhanov also noted that under the instructions of Vladimir Putin to stimulate housing construction, Russian Government has issued a decree on reducing the preferential mortgage rate to 7 percent to be valid until the end of the current year. Tatarstan President emphasized that this measure will help people to improve their housing conditions and significantly support the construction sector. He instructed Tatarstan Ministry of Construction, together with developers and credit institutions, to optimize work in this area.
