Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived to Kuzbass

On 25 June in the evening, upon his arrival to the Kuzbass International Airport, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Kemerovo region, was met by the Governor of the region Sergey Tsivilev. 

The main points of the visit agenda is to discuss issues of developing interregional cooperation and to sign a Plan of events of implementation of the Agreement between the Collegium of the Kemerovo region Administration and the Government of Tatarstan on cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical, social, cultural and other spheres in 2022-2024. Heads of two regions will also be honorary guests of the second international miners’ Sabantuy held in Novokuznetsk these days. 

Next year Kuzbass will host the Federal Sabantuy, the honorary right to host which was passed to Sergey Tsivilev by Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of Ulyanovsk region Aleksey Russkikh, who hosted the Holiday this year.

Currently Tatarstan and the region closely cooperate not only in industry but also in agriculture, transport, IT, healthcare, education, culture and sports. According to heads of the regions, they have large potential of increasing deliveries of petrochemical products, the purchase of blast-furnace coke by machine-building enterprises of Tatarstan and increasing deliveries of machine-building products and vehicles, including trucks and specialized machinery as well as various purpose helicopters and ships.
