Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chief of Representative Office of Haier in Russia Lyudmila Romanova

On August 25, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chief of Representative Office of Haier in Russia, Director of Business Development of Haier in Russia Lyudmila Romanova discussed the implementation of Haier projects in Naberezhnye Chelny.

The company continues to work on the development of the industrial park. Today, a washing machine factory, a household appliance factory and a warehouse of finished products operate on its territory. In 2021, construction of two more factories (stamped products factory and «smart plant» for the manufacture of refrigeration and freezer equipment) and a hostel for employees was started. In addition, since 2016 on the territory of Kama Industrial Park “Master” a factory for the production of refrigerators is operating. In total, Haier created almost 1.700 new jobs.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin, Aide to Tatarstan President Albert Nafigin and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev took part in the meeting.
