On February 2, at the Governor’s Palace in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group Khalaf Al Habtoor from the United Arab Emirates. Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov said he was glad to have a regular meeting and noted that Khalaf Al Habtoor visited Kazan in 2010. Tatarstan President emphasized that various delegations from Tatarstan often visit the Emirates and that fruitful cooperation is implemented in many areas.

On February 1, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of German company “RMA Rus” Thomas Egon Plokher discussed issues of the current industrial activity and prospects for further development of the company.

On January 31, at a joint summing-up meeting of the regional office of the Federal State Statistics Service in Tatarstan and Tatarstan Committee on socio-economic monitoring, Acting Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin, Chairman of Tatarstan Committee on socio-economic monitoring Valeriy Kandilov, Head of the regional office of the Federal State Statistics Service in Tatarstan Natalya Gataullina and other participants discussed the results of work in 2017 and set priorities for 2018.

On January 31, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed over keys to 50 new official cars to officers of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Tatarstan.

On January 30, in the Government House of the republic, at a board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, it was reported that petrochemical enterprises of the republic shipped products for the sum of more than 1.2 thrillion roubles in 2017.

On January 30, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular board meeting of Tatneft Oil Company, which summed up the results of the company’s budget execution in 2017 and approved the budget for February of the current year.

On January 30, at the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications, Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a summing-up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications.

On January 30, at the Kazan International Airport, with participation of Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of the Russian Post Nikolay Podguzov, First Deputy Head of Federal Customs Service Ruslan Davydov and Tatarstan Ministry of information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, the logistics post centre of Russian Post was launched in commercial operation. 

On January 30, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Hyun Joon discussed issues of cooperation as part of relations between Russia and Korea.

On January 29, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with five Tatarstan citizens, who will represent the republic in the final of Leaders of Russia nationwide contest. Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, Chief federal inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, Head of Tatarstan Presidential Department for public service and HR Aleksandr Belov took part in the meeting.
