On February 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent a telegram to Governor of Orenburg region Yuriy Berg to express his condolences over the air crash of An-148, which was going to Orsk, in Moscow region.

On February 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his condolences to the family of the native of Kazan Ekaterina Nasyrova, who was killed in the crash of the An-148 aircraft in Moscow region.

On February 11, in the Government House of the republic, First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Education and Science of the republic Rafis Burganov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Tatarstan Rafis Khabibullin, Minister of Health of the republic Adel Vafin took part in an extraordinary meeting of the Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan on prevention and control of emergencies and fire safety.

On February 11, Tatarstan Department of Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare received 32 urgent notifications of cases of intestinal infection in 30 students and one teacher of Kazanbashskaya general education school of Arsk municipal region and one student of Arsk teacher training college named after Gabdulla Tukay. 

On February 9, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov asked road maintenance services and heads of municipalities to intensify their work on snow cleaning.

On February 9, reporting on the system of seed production in Tatarstan at a traditional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov asked regional heads and heads of farms not to save on the quality of seeds.

On February 9, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin and all regional municipalities in the Government House of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin reported that it is planned to overhaul 113 educational facilities, 28 of them are general education organizations and 85 kindergarten. As of February 8, 2018, the works at 11 municipal schools and 7 special schools, at 47 pre-school educational institutions are underway.

On February 9, at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the regional state award “For Valorous Labour” to former Minister of Economy of the republic Artem Zdunov, who was appointed Chairman of the Government of Dagestan.

On February 9, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the local Council of Yutazinsky municipal region of the republic to sum up the results of social and economic development of the region in 2017 and set tasks for 2018.

On February 9, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in National Awards of Tatarstan for Science and Technology 2017.
