Rustam Minnikhanov about the Russian Venture Forum: Russian and foreign companies arrived - the Forum is in demand

On April 19, at the Korston Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the plenary session “Venture market of Russia today and tomorrow - strategic perspectives” of the Russian Venture Forum.

Executive Director of the Russian Venture Capital Association Albina Nikkonen made a report on the state of the Russian venture market.

Minnikhanov emphasized that many projects of companies – participants of the Forum exhibition are of practical kind. According to him, there are many opportunities for their use.

“We have come a long way and see that it was rightly chosen, Minnikhanov said”, speaking about the situation on the venture market.

“We were looking for new opportunities to move the situation on the venture market to action. Tatarstan is a region with powerful educational centers, universities. Probably, we are far from advanced, but we should have patience. We should not be restricted only to the borders of Tatarstan, we should cooperate! All our Russian partners, foreign companies have arrived here, this indicates that the Forum is in demand”, Minnikhanov noted, speaking about the start of the work in the venture investment market.

During the Forum, Aide to Russian President Andrei Fursenko emphasized that the Russian venture market has evolved significantly. Start-ups began to offer necessary for the market development and think more about the profit.

During the Russian Venture Forum, the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Venture Committee of the All-China Association for the Financial Promotion of Science signed an agreement of intent.
