Rustam Minnikhanov meets participants of the Federal Education Forum “The Youth Guard of the United Russia Party”

On April 19, welcoming the participants of the Federal Education Forum “The Youth Guard of the United Russia Party” held at Sviyaga Hills Resort Complex these days, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that participation in the Forum will help young people to expand their circle of friends and establish new contacts, get useful knowledge and experience.

Then, Minnikhanov briefed about his working career and its main stages.  Before he became the president, he worked as a mechanical engineer, power engineer, was involved in the system of consumer cooperatives, headed Ministry of Finances of the republic and was Tatarstan Prime Minister for 12 years.

“It was a very good school of life. I gained a lot of skills that help me in my work today. You are young and proactive people. Do your best to study more, gain experience in different directions”, Tatarstan President advised.

He added that it is always necessary to remain a patriot, to cherish national traditions and culture.

Minnikhanov answered questions from participants of the Forum. The issues of implementation of youth policy in the republic, support of young families, development of sports infrastructure in Tatarstan were raised during the conversation.
