On September 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Vladivostok to take part in the events of the 4th Eastern Economic Forum.

Minnikhanov is scheduled to hold a number of business meetings with representatives of such companies as Yokogawa Electric Corporation, Hitachi and Lotte Corporation.

On September 11, at the Government House of the republic, at a videoconference, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a regular meeting of commission for the conclusion of agreements on launching the production facilities at Naberezhnye Chelny territory of the advanced socio-economic development.

Today, we celebrate one hundred and ninety years from the birth of the Russian and world literature classic - the great writer, philosopher and educator Leo Tolstoy whose life and work were closely connected with Kazan.

On September 8, after the official meeting with the leaders of West Kazakhstan region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Akim of the region Altay Kulginov had a meeting with delegations of ethno-cultural associations of the Tatars of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited the historical Red Mosque and the museum of Gabdulla Tukay, and laid flowers at the monument to the Tatar national poet Tukay and at the monument to the Kazakh national poet Abai.

On September 8, at the Akimat of West Kazakhstan region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had an official meeting with Akim of the region Altai Kulginov, after which a business meeting between the authorities and business representatives of the West Kazakhstan region and Tatarstan was held.

On September 7, at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn event dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the TNG-Group, one of the leading Russian oilfield service companies providing a full range of services in exploration of minerals.
