On August 29, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General – Board Chairman of the Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov took part in an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Yudino settlement in Kazan.

On August 29, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, representatives of Tatenergo Company, Uralenergostroy Management Company took part in a solemn commissioning of a new steam-generating unit-230 MWt at the Kazan Combined Heat and Power Plant №1.

On August 29, near the building of State Council of the republic in Kazan, during a ceremony with participation of Chairman of the Council of Municipalities of the republic Ekzam Gubaidullin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in keys to new vehicles to heads of villages and municipalities of Tatarstan, who became winners of the show-contest among municipalities timed to coincide with the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On August 29, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished citizens of the republic.

On August 29, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting on preparation for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the TASSR.

On August 28, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with Chi Jingtao, Director General of China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO) and its representatives, who arrived on a short-term working visit in Kazan to get acquainted with opportunities for cooperation in agricultural industry.

Pesoshin thanked the Chinese partners for interest and desire they had shown in development of cooperation with the republic.

On August 28, in the city of Innopolis, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Yandex in Russia Elena Bunina signed an agreement on development autonomous transport in the republic, which envisages the establishment of test zone for traffic in the IT-city.

On August 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Innopolis to take part in solemn graduation and admission ceremonies at the Innopolis University.
