On May 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with Minister of Economic Affairs, Science, and Digital Society of Thuringia Wolfgang Tiefensee, who is on a working visit in Kazan as a member of a representative delegation from Thuringia (Germany).

On May 21, at their meeting at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation Alexey Likhachev discussed issues of cooperation and further work on the preparation and holding of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019, which will be held in Kazan this August.

On May 21, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Sport of Russia Natalia Parshikova discussed issues of promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle and further development of sports infrastructure.

The meeting also touched upon issues of holding the final of the 7th Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) National Championship.
