On October 5, at the Government House of the republic, speaking at a video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with the participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities of the republic, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported on the pace of harvesting industrial crops and autumn soil preparation.

On October 1, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that as of October 4, 2019, as many as 1 mln 771 thousand square meters of housing, which makes 73 per cent of the plan for the current year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

On October 4, at the Kazan City Hall, speaking at a meeting held by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov of the Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District on the development of internal and inbound tourism, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is a co-chair of the Council working group, said that the Volga Federal District has unique resources for the development of cruise tourism, adding that every year more than 500,000 people make cruise and suburban trips in the district.

On October 4, at the Kazan City Hall, speaking at a meeting of the Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District on the development of internal and incoming tourism chaired by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is a Сo-Сhairman of the Council working group, proposed increasing the financial guarantees of tour operators for internal and incoming tourism significantly.

On October 4, at the Kazan City Hall, speaking at a meeting of the Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District on the development of internal and incoming tourism chaired by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is a Сo-Сhairman of the Council working group, proposed establishing a line ministry for tourism development in Russia.

On October 4, at the Kazan City Hall, speaking at a meeting of the Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District on the development of internal and incoming tourism chaired by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is a Сo-Сhairman of the Council working group,  said that tourism is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the economy of the District, contributing to the improvement of the image of the regions and the development of territories.

On October 4, during his working visit to Kazan, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the tourism potential of the republic.

On October 4, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Russian Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism) Zarina Doguzova discussed the development of tourism industry in the republic, the improvement of infrastructure and the measures to attract tourists to the region.

On October 3, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov and Governor of Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov together with Chief federal inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov visited Bolgar Historical and Archaeological Complex.
