Rustam Minnikhanov attends a concert, the part of the 20th Tatar Zhyry International Tatar Song Festival

On December 21, at the Pyramida Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a concert which was a part of the 20th Tatar Zhyry International Song Festival.

This year, large-scale concerts were organized in Moscow and Ufa to celebrate the anniversary of the Tatar Zhyry Festival. The final concert is traditionally held in Kazan. About 1,000 people take part in the organization of the festival annually.

“I congratulate you on the holiday of the Tatar song. For 20 years, we have been gathering at this festival. I hope this tradition will continue in the future and we will see many more new talented singers,” Minnikhanov said in his welcoming speech.

He thanked the organizers of the festival, the Bars-Media Group, for the implementation of an important project for the cultural life of the republic and handed in a number of awards.
