On December 24, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of Signity Company’s management (the Netherlands).
Signify, formerly known as Philips Lighting, the world leader in solutions, systems and services for LED network lighting, was established through demerging from Royal Philips in May 2016.
The company operates in the market of both professional and consumer devices and transforms urban spaces, workplaces, stadiums, buildings, shopping centres and homes. The company's products, systems and services help customers use energy as efficiently as possible, optimize their work and provide new solutions and services.
Earlier, Minnikhanov had already met representatives of Signify in April this year, as part of his working visit to the Netherlands.
At their previous meeting, Minnikhanov was presented a concept of a unified lighting environment in the city of Kazan. It is assumed that a single lighting environment will contribute to the harmonization of urban lighting.
At today’s meeting, representatives of Signify discussed the project in more details.
