On December 23, during his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the keys to new special-purpose equipment to public utilities.
In total, the public utilities received 9 vehicles, including snow loaders, excavators and tractors with handling equipment. Next year, the city will receive another 15 units of municipal equipment.
Minnikhanov noted that a lot of work is underway in Tatarstan to improve public utility facilities. “The availability of modern equipment is an important element in the work of public utilities. The mood of people largely depends on the quality of cleaning, the condition of roads and sidewalks. Therefore, your work is very important,” he said.
Tatarstan President emphasized that Naberezhnye Chelny has received 46 units of new municipal equipment for 3 years. “We see that the urban economy is in good condition. I am sure that the special-purpose equipment to be handed over today will also become good support,” Minnikhanov added.
Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, who took part in the event, thanked the leadership of the republic for supporting the city and implementing a number of significant programmes for improving public spaces, repairing roads and other spheres.
